Last summer I was lucky enough to take a @MEtoWE trip to Kenya, where I saw firsthand the inspiring work they do, like improving access to clean water in developing parts of the world.
I met some incredible people, including Wilson, a strong community leader in the Maasai Mara who became a father to his first baby girl last year. This community and the @WEmovement have worked together so that families can build themselves a brighter future. Like Wilson’s daughter, who, because of access to clean water, will grow up in a world where she spends her days in school instead of taking on the role of collecting water.

eve_mucheru So hilarious to see u carryin the water jar like a girl..reminds me of times I used to carry water like that, for a couple of kilometres..men place it on their shoulders though😊. It's sad that this is still the case in some part of Kenya.. I'm happy to say there is tap water now in the region where I come from.
