Skeleton of a ship. On August 11, 1897, this ship had a bad day and came to rest on Higgins Beach. It’s eerily beautiful to stand in the middle of what used to be the Howard W. Middleton at sunset, when the tide is at just the right spot, and look out towards the sea. Man I love this place. •
