A lot of my friends have been tripping lately on the “DEATH” of some print publications in the world of action sports ... and as someone who grew up living and breathing in these magazines it is very sad to see them go and I’m so grateful for the link to the culture I love that they gave me through my life ?? ... but everyone needs to understand this isn’t a poor reflection on the current state of action sports (remember that especially when your sponsors try to use it as an excuse to pay you less next year?) ... this is just where we’re at in the evolution of digital media ... and the only way these media companies will die is if they hold on too tightly to the past and don’t embrace the future of digital media ... having said that ... today I started developing a Virtual “Choose Your Own Adventure” surfing mini game by integrating content from the GoProFusion and the VR Social Networking app “AltSpace” ... it is incredible where the future of digital media is going to take us and I embrace it completely ?? #virtualreality
