YOU MADE THIS REUNION POSSIBLE. Ten months ago, United States officials pulled this boy — 6 year old Ariel — out of his father’s arms. They deported his father and detained the child. With your donations, @together.rising has fought for nearly a year to bring this child back into the arms of his parents, who are guilty of nothing more than seeking amnesty from the violence in their own country. Together Rising has now reunited 90 families. The Courts have ruled that it is the responsibility of American government to get these children back to their parents. They are failing in the task — not even trying. But we (you!) have not forgotten these children, and we will never stop fighting for them. Right now, 17 of the families we helped to reunite are being detained under dreadful conditions. More families are still looking for their children. Please consider making a monthly donation to @together.rising, to help us continue to fund the army of lawyers, investigators, translators, and social workers needed to help put right this truly grotesque (and ongoing) moral abomination.
