Yesterday in Tijuana, we witnessed in person the humanitarian crisis at the border. Mothers and their children seeking safety and their international human right to asylum at our border, but instead being made more vulnerable by the senseless & illegal policies of this administration. In spite of it all, these families remain resilient and hopeful, and their children continue to shine their joyful lights brightly. As a nation, we need to cut through the political fighting and reconnect to our humanity. What our government does, they do in our name. You can stand with these families by donating to the INCREDIBLE work that Families Belong Together is doing on the ground with these families, and by signing the @fams2gether’s petition to block the “Remain in Mexico” policy. So because you are hispanic It makes it OK for people to cross illegally regardless of running away for safety reasons for the family yes they should not be separated they should be sent back not to stay in the US people tried for years to come here legally who do not live off the system yet it’s OK for all these Hispanics to come through with absolutely no papers and refusing to abide by US laws sorry America but you’re the one who’s actually in the wrong here

The laws that were already in place are just being enforced. We can't afford to help everyone. Mexico needs a major gov't renovation or to be absorbed by another country 🤦🏽♀️
