When you start to look like your father...

Sometimes when I look in the mirror or even look at my hands, I see my parents. I see the features, the lines, the histories that are engrained in my memory from when they were still with us. ▫️▫️▫️
They were both great people. Formidable people in their own right. They didn’t back down from living life. The met challenges head on and although not perfect, did the best they could. We laughed, we cried, we had deep introspective conversations but mostly they were my mom and dad. I’m grateful that I was able to share what time we had together on this planet. ▫️▫️▫️
Live life. Live to the fullest. Despite the common theme, Time is truly on your side and it’s never too late to grab your dreams. Make use of it. Make it yours. Make it real. ▫️▫️▫️
