Happy Women’s Day. I believe in the power of feminine energy and that the world desperately needs more of it. My wish to all my young female identifying fans: that you see your own beauty and power. I felt completely ignored and often bullied by my straight male peers growing up, so much so that I thought with certainty that I was unattractive, that I was unlovable, and to this day I’m still quieting down those voices. If you are the weird girl like me or a queer kid, and men are making you feel tiny and unlovable and insignificant, just know it won’t be like that forever. Pour yourself into your passions in the meantime, you are beautiful, worthwhile, and people WILL appreciate you if you APPRECIATE YOURSELF. Yes I know there are wonderful straight men, I wish I had met more growing up.. to the straight men in positions of privilege reading this: be very mindful of how you treat the women and the minorities around you. There is great power in how you choose to act. Love and strength to everyone. Times are changing ?? ❤️

@alliex you took the words right out of my mouth. This is exactly how I feel and have felt my entire life. It’s so funny I thought I was the only one. Thank you for this beautiful post. I don’t feel as alone in this place we call life. From the time I was in the second grade I always loved my beautiful rainbow family. I am straight but always felt like I don’t belong in my community and I find straight men so basic and boring. It’s funny because I’ve always been this way. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll either be alone forever doing what I love or I will get lucky and marry a gay man and live happily ever after.
