Okay for all the males who are saying this is bs for equal pay. If the men are "statistically" more athletic and strong than women, then the women have to work 1,000,000 times harder just to reach to their level of athleticism. So we put in more work than the guys. I wanna see you give birth to children and then go back to being a world champion and professional athlete. Don't be jealous because the female athletes of the US are making the male athlete's of the US look like wimps because they couldn't even make it to the Damn World Cup and we just won the whole damn thing *cough *cough AGAIN. While we are here celebrating about our 4 starts you can think about how you can contribute to help the USMNT get 1. When that happens then you can talk but for now just keep it quite!

Men’s World Cup revenue: $6 billion. Women’s World Cup revenue: $130 million. Which means they are now the highest paid athletes in relation to their popularity. The women’s league also guarantees pay, while the men’s does not. But let’s go ahead & keep up this fake feel-good narrative, I’d hate to get in the way of this carnival of blatant virtue signaling & pandering. Your clothes are made in foreign sweatshops by children paid pennies on the dollar, you don’t get to set the bar for what’s “just” and unjust. How about you take those bonuses you just paid a bunch of millionaires & aim towards paying your workers a livable wage, seeing as your profits have skyrocketed, yet your wages have stagnated.

The women should be paid more because they won, unlike the men. What your proposing is a step in the right direction, but is not gender equality.

In that case.. let’s pay the U15 dallas team the same amount, don’t they deserve some respect?
