⁣I want to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on what the International Women’s Day represent to all of us. This morning when I was reading the news the first headline I stumble upon was: “Big firms lying about female and minority directors, says top business chief”. @guardian Discrimination happens everyday, all the time, sometimes we aren’t even aware of others its tough to deal with. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣Recently, someone really high up in the market, a person who’s net worths over $600 million said I was a “fucked up brazilian”, during a work meeting. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣Here’s my answer to that: It doesn’t matter where you come from, what is your colour or gender, your success is measured by your ability to win, to go through adversities and to stand for what you believe.⁣⁣⁣

⁣I am proud to say I am a self made person, everything I achieved in life was through studying and hard work. The reason why I moved to London 5yrs ago, was mainly to be able to develop myself as a professional regardless of my gender or nationality, to be recognised for my skills and I made it. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣Therefore, here I am to share my story with all the women out there who ever felt down, discriminated or diminished. Remember how powerful and strong you are and don’t expect anything less than respect above any diferences. London is known for its cultural diversity, and that’s why I am a proud Londoner, and despite the negative comment, I am indeed a successful, italo-german Brazilian, citizen of the world! ?✈️ ⁣⁣
