Hi Guys! I’m posting this video for the Leuser Ecosystem and @ステラ・マッカートニー as she brought this incredibly important issue to my attention and we’re asking for your help! The Leuser Ecosystem is a 6.5 million-acre forest in Sumatra, Indonesia, that is under threat from logging and development. All you have to do is post with the hashtag #ThereSheGrows and Stella with the help of @canopyplanet will make a donation in your name. It is particularly important to all of us because it is the one place on the planet where rhinos, tigers, orangutans and elephants are found together in the wild and is home to the critically endangered Sumatran Orangutan, the world’s rarest ape that is on the verge of going extinct. It is also home to 105 different species of mammal, 382 bird species and 8,500 plant species. 4 million people rely on it for clean air, water and their livelihoods. Choose to dedicate a tree to someone you love, post a photo or video with #ThereSheGrows, and more importantly talk about this to any and everyone you know so we can come together as a global conscious community and raise awareness that will inform the choices all of us make. Ps @ステラ・マッカートニー is incredible for so many reasons, but one of the things I Iove the most is her commitment to sourcing sustainable earth friendly materials for her company.
