With mim having a little girl this week, international women’s day has a whole new dimension to it. May we celebrate motherhood, raise our daughters to become strong independent women with good values and standards not just in equality but in morals, manners and meaning. May we lead by example and pave the way for the next generation of women. And let’s celebrate how far the women before us (our mothers, sisters, aunties, godmothers & mentors) have come so that we can live in a more equal day today in 2019!??
