On this day in 1965, the Beach Boys released their eighth studio album, The Beach Boys Today! Produced, arranged, and largely written by Brian, the album included the classics “When I Grow Up (To Be A Man)” featuring Brian on harpsichord, “Dance, Dance, Dance,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Please Let Me Wonder” and “Kiss Me, Baby.” The album was a huge hit and its sophistication portended Pet Sounds, released the following year.
