⬅️SWIPE LEFT⬅️ We're honouring a truly international woman and brilliant influence on architecture for International Women's Day: Dame Zaha Hadid DBE RA of @zahahadidarchitects.

During her lifetime, Zaha created some of the world's most iconic pieces of architecture, from cultural centres to Olympic pools.

She was the first woman to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, in 2004.

She received the UK's most prestigious architectural award, the Stirling Prize, in 2010 and 2011.

In 2012, she was made a Dame by Elizabeth II for services to architecture, and in 2015 she became the first and only woman to be awarded the Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects @riba.

We've chosen 4 of her most stunning architectural wonders, and for each one we'll show you a photo of the exterior, followed by a photo of the interior of the building.
