Yes — not a jolly time for us. Mike Grose was Queen’s first bass player. Around 1970, Roger invited him to come up to London from Cornwall to rehearse with us, putting those first songs together. He was a powerful figure, with powerful gear ! His sound was massive and monolithic ! In the end the liaison didn’t work out, but we owe Mike gratitude for helping us take those first steps. postovulya I with my brother studied at school anw we were almost alone. Parents always worked. I never speak to my mother about the school, friends, boys. It was very sad, because i am a girl and i needed this. I need to be loved. Sometimes i could cry because now body could support me or just tell me what to do. Once my brother who loved so much a film Gorec show me ur music 🎶 The wonderful group who names Queen.. and i finally found what i so nedded.... a support and love!!!!!!! Voice of Freddy Mercury, pronunciation, music gave me everything. wonderjul77 Someone asked me tonight about the first time I saw Queen perform...and my response was right there - I don’t remember how old I was or what Freddie was wearing or singing...but it was on TV and I just remember admiring his voice and his presence...the way he OWNED who he was and was so fucking beautiful in the way he didn’t care how others saw him because he knew he was fabulous. And it hit me again how much I absolutely love this band and identify with Freddie eternally. Much love
