"I was standing next to a river with some small rapids making a nice foreground. The Aurora was one of those that you always hope for, it went for hours, morphing into many different shapes. I kept shooting and eventually gave up around 12:30 after six hours of non stop action.
With such active auroras it’s best to keep the shutter speed as short as possible for a sharper image of the actual aurora. This was a great location with no light pollution and the rapids providing a nice foreground." - @phannanphoto
