Another sneak peek at @david_lachapelle ‘s editorial in our March Issue ??? ‘It’s a Small World’ debuted at the World’s Fair In 1964. The attraction created by Walt Disney was advertised as "A salute to the children of the world,” and broke attendance records upon its reveal. Set in a colorful vision through the eyes of a child, Disney’s innovative design interconnected our worlds’ vastly unique cultures and people. With the foresight and sensitivity to our finite resources and vital codependence, Walt Disney imagined one human race living together in harmony while celebrating its differences. Underneath it’s whimsy is a profound message more relevant today than ever before. The sets of this story were photographed at It’s a Small World, Disneyland, California.
