swrene13 I just finished listening to Becoming and I am in awe of the Amazing Grace in which she told her story...our story.I am so glad I decided to listen instead of read this book. To hear everything in her own words brought ever moment into the forefront of my imagination. I could see events clearly as she spoke of them. I have learned that she is an amazing teller of life's stories. I laughed and cried. Felt extreme pride and shame. I was at one moment envious and the next pitying . I hardly ever leave 5 stars.....saving those for only the ones I feel touch my soul like none others...and this touched my soul....taught me things I had no clue about.....and made me see the world around me in a whole new light. i will wake up every day as enthusiastic as a child about the world I am waking up to and my people in it.
