Tears were shed in the Grand Palais in Paris today during the last Chanel show with a collection by Karl Lagerfeld — the prolific designer who died in February. For his final dazzling @シャネル set, @カールラガーフェルド created a lifesize alpine village, complete with chalets, fir trees and snow for the models, which included @ペネロペ・クルス. The show began with a moment of silence, broken by the sounds of #KarlLagerfeld’s recorded voice over the sound system. “It’s like walking in a painting,” he said.
