Part 2: Durban, South Africa

My next stop on my South African adventure was the coastal city of Durban.

Durban sits on the Indian Ocean and is the third most populous city in South Africa—after Johannesburg and Cape Town, with beautiful beaches up its coast and was caught by surprise at how tropical it was.

We stopped at a hotel called @TheOysterBox for lunch along the ocean and my jaw dropped. Red & white stripes on all the furniture, platters of the freshest Seafood and beautiful brown people who looked like me.. I was in awe. There was one point where I saw a group of lovely woman and I asked to take their portrait and we all instantly became friends! (hello @prettydiny & crew!) This is the South Africa I had no idea about and I can’t wait to explore more of this gorgeous city.
