I have never been a “small” girl and by that I mean that ever since the tender age of 13 I was almost as tall as I am now (180cm | 5’11” )?. Yeah, I was bullied alright. Giraffe was one of the most popular nicknames I had and I didn’t like it, I didn’t like it at all. Little did I know, adulthood -and a lot of self work- would bring a wave of confidence that made me realize that this is me, this is who I am, a tall girl and it’s freakin’ great! (Also, giraffes are freaking awesome!). Standing next to the horseshoe bend was one of the first times in my life where I felt small. I realized how grand our planet is and made me put a lot of things into perspective. I sat there for a few minutes taking it all in. I was lost for words and incredulous that I was finally sitting here. I got a little too close to the edge (my boyfriend almost had a heart attack by watching me ?), but I was safe and at that moment I felt so free. #horseshoebend #arizona #roadtrip #andytorres
