I read a quote today that read: “Each year that you gain comfort in your own flesh, your flesh is seen as worth less”. Full disclosure this photograph has been completely retouched and edited beyond recognition. It was lit impeccably and selected from over a dozen options. So I know I have a long way to go in terms of self acceptance. But as I stand on the precipice of 30 what I know for sure is that i’m incredibly proud of how far I have already come in the pursuit of feeling comfortable in my own skin, confident in my talent, and knowing my self worth. 30 is old enough to look back and young enough to look forward. I’m so excited for the next chapter. Happy Birthday to myself ?
