Just to think, only a few days ago, I was having my favourite breakfast at my favourite breakfast place in Sydney: Avocado on toast at @umubondi (formerly known as Earthfood) in Gould Street, Bondi .Sprinkled on top is a slightly Australian take on the Japanese shichimi togarashi (it has lemon myrtle in it!) and I did have to bring some home, in a little @herbiesspices package.
UMU is a shop as well as a cafe, and I eat my breakfast gazing at beautiful displays of fruit and vegetables. I’ve been coming here for 11 years, and feel at home the minute I go through the doors.
I have a soft spot for quite a few of the shops in Gould Street, actually...
