I started getting this yearning for wanting a pup about 3 years ago and it’s just intensified since. Don’t know if it’s my biological clock or what but it got really intense and I just knew that I needed one. Lots of friends and family told me to get a small dog because it would be more practical with all the travel I do, but I dunno I just connect way more with big dogs! They are so goofy and cuddly and I grew up with them. So I moved into a bigger place in the valley so I could have enough space and also made sure I had enough space in my life. I wanted to make sure I was absolutely prepared to give a dog a great life, just like I would do if I considered having a child.
Now that I have Koji I know my instincts were right. I’ve had her for under 2 weeks but I just love her so much. I feel noticeably calmer and more content. I love waking up early to her little face and watching her experience the world for the first time. My heart is full and I can’t wait to watch her grow and be best buds. Everyone give Koji a warm welcome ?? ? ❤️
