As #BlackHistoryMonth comes to an end I wanted to shine the spotlight on my dad, @delinodeshields, one of my biggest, if not the biggest inspiration in my life when it comes to the game baseball. My dad was one the first players in the @MLB to wear his pants up as his own personal tribute to the Negro Leagues. Thank you for exposing me to our history at an early age and introducing me to the people who paved the way for myself and many others who love and play this game. Love you Pops! ?: @high_vis
