Soooooo my friend let me borrow his MPC he used to produce a ton of my favorite records, one of theme being “Supernatural” by DC Talk ?. I was twelve when that album came out in 1998 and it made me want to start making my own music someday. This is too weird and too cool. I can feeeeeel the significance of this machine just sitting in my studio. There’s almost this reverent silence in the room... it’s like seeing the first album I fell in love with after all these years, only I’m looking at a piece of gear that was actually used to MAKE that album. It kind of connects me to my favorite music on a way deeper level and that’s totally weird and cool to me. I’m dead. How did this happen??? How did I ever make it here?? Like last week I was just a kid making music for fun and then a career happened to me and now I get to do music for my job and travel around the world and meet amazing people and connect with incredible human beings who understand what I’m trying to communicate and who feel inspired by my weird music. What on earth???? I feel so so grateful and humbled and blessed and privileged to be where I am right now. Thank you. I’m nobody special, I’m the most normal, average person on the face of the earth so it’s soo weird having followers and fans and people telling me they like my music. What even???? This is really really cool for me. Thank you guys! Thank you God! I’m grateful!! ??? #inspired
