Our Blue Bottle Coffee Cans are vacuum-sealed in an oxygen-free dome to keep the beans inside just-roasted fresh for up to 6 months. You read that right: 6 months of freshness. Get yours now — link in bio.

Definitely a cool thing but I feel like it solves a problem that doesn’t exist. Seems it would make sense though if you bought in bulk, for instance if you’re embarking on an grand expedition and you want to have fresh coffee later on down the road. The average coffee drinker would use up 6oz in what, a few days at most? I just don’t see the point... If I’m buying coffee much less 6oz of coffee I’m buying it to drink it now not later. I guess it would extend shelf life if sold in chain stores which would be beneficial for the business but as a consumer there are so many independent roasters popping up if you want fresh coffee it’s more that readily available.

@wil_or Thanks for asking! Much as we do with our other forms of whole beans, we recommend consuming within two weeks of roast (for our bags) or opening (for the can). While we think you'll be duly impressed with our can's ability to stop the aging process, rest assured we still carry whole beans in bags, sold only up to a few days past roast, in both our cafes and webshop. Reach out with anything further

@vanesa_agreda We package our coffee after several days of aging at the start of peak flavor potential to allow the degassing progress to begin, and leave enough room in the can to allow for any further degassing to occur. Please feel free to get in touch with any further questions!

What’s the big deal? I’ve been in coffee for years and already do a full nitrogen flush, full oxygen evacuation that keeps whole bean coffee fresh ...This isn’t some earth shattering thing no one else does. Lots of great coffee out there already lasts months ...

@vivianp Thanks for your interest! We're not able to ship to Thailand yet, unfortunately, but we're working on expanding our shipping capabilities for the future so you never know! Feel free to reach out with any further questions.

@steveespresso @jfvankerckhove That's correct, once the can is opened the clock starts ticking and we recommend using the coffee within 14 days. Please feel free to get in touch with any further questions!
