Hello! My name is Sarica (rhymes with America ?) of @saricastudio and I’m taking over this week to share some messages of self love and affirmation! I love lettering, journaling, and art in general. Sometimes I can be my own harshest critic, especially when I’m learning a new technique. That’s when I have to cheer myself on with encouraging messages, like with today’s words: have patience with yourself. It’s easy to be disheartened when you’re first starting out with an unfamiliar technique, especially when everyone else seems to be doing it so effortlessly. But everyone starts somewhere, and what you don’t see on everyone’s curated IGs are the countless hours of practice and mistakes and failed attempts! So, have a little more patience with yourself, friends. You’ll get there! ? I’m using Gelly Roll pens here, which are some of my favorite pens to write with. The metallic and white ink looks stunning on black cardstock!
