‘Pomak Bride’ ❤️ a new photostory by @eylulezik styled by @tarikgul ? about the project - ‘For ages, weddings have had an important role in our lives. In this shooting we want to emphasize the matter of weddings as an harmony of the past and the present, especially Turkish Pomak culture. Forms, colours and dimensions are changing ages to ages but this shooting tells us that it is really hard to distinguish former days from nowadays. Moreover, these photo-portrait series presents the most important Turkish bridal ritual, henna, colourful and patterned flakes in Pomak culture.’ Team credits:
