【奧斯卡最佳導演：阿方索科朗】

墨西哥大導阿方索科朗 Alfonso Cuaron在本屆奧斯卡連下兩成，以他充滿自傳色彩的作品《羅馬》連續拿下最佳攝影以及最佳導演。

除了以西班牙文感謝墨西哥，他也替長期以來備受壓抑的少數民族發聲：「我想謝謝奧斯卡肯定了一部以原住民女性為主角的電影，她是遍佈全球七千萬勞工中沒有工作，或沒有工作權的人們之一。一直以來，這樣的存在總是被遺忘在畫面的背景裡，但我們的工作，就是要看著別人不願意面對的角落，在所有人都被鼓勵忽略他們的時代，這個責任就顯得越發重要。」

This is Alfonso Cuaron’s fourth Oscar, and second for the night. His “Roma” won him a Best Cinematography and Best Director. “I want to thank Academy for recognizing the film centered around the indigenous woman. One of the seventy millions domestic workers in the world without works, without work rights, who have been historically regular relegated in the background in cinema. Our job is to look others don't, this responsibility becomes more and more important, in times that we are been encourage to look away.”
