Robert Crumb
‘Drawing for Print: Mind Fucks, Kultur Klashes, Pulp Fiction & Pulp Fact by the Illustrious R. Crumb’ opens Thursday, February 21 at the gallery’s West 19th Street location.

Curated by Robert Storr, this exhibition will feature a wide array of printed matter culled from the artist’s archive: tear sheets of drawings and comics, taken directly from the publications where the works first appeared, as well as related ephemera.
The works on view showcase the full breadth of Crumb’s graphic production and creative vision and will be organized by Storr into groupings that visualize the artist’s mixture of frenetic creative output and his methodical and skilled execution.
