Repost @albertwatsonphotography @Vogue Senegal 1977 With @dickinson.debbie1 I was so excited to be going to Africa for this trip. Albert was already considered one of the top photographers and Debbie was a lot of fun. I remember being disappointed that our hotel was a modern normal hotel I was hoping for something really authentic but we did get a chance to drive out to some small villages and the beautiful people were very excited about our cameras ...and Polaroids were like magic! They still are to me! I bought lots of colorful local fabrics that I still have. I never saw this shot till today . Now I want to look for my own photos from this trip to jog my memory .
