@halpernstudio’s AW19 collection looked to motifs and shapes inspired by the Art Deco era as well as the Russian-born French artist Erté, whose illustrations were abstracted and printed onto garments. “Decadence-that’s really what started it for me. You can see so many times in history where decadence was not only being decadent, but it was a form of getting through things. A form of rebellion.
