Members of the U.S. military, dressed as traditional 10th Mountain Division soldiers, hike up the "First Hike" route during Legacy Days, in Vail, Colorado. The route is the one which the founders of Vail, Pete Seibert and Earl Eaton, did in 1957 to scope out the potential Vail had for a ski resort.
