This lion has the gentlest nature and soul, despite his difficult start to life. He was fed watered down cows milk as a cub to keep him and his brother small so that tourists could pay to take pictures with them at a theme park establishment in Spain. He was rescued by The Campaign Against Canned Hunting aka #CACH who in turn requested that he and his brother came to my sanctuary. At first we said no to taking them but I’m so glad we eventually said yes and took him and his brother into our care. They are turning 5 years old soon. George (pictured) still struggles anatomically and physiologically with the after effects of their bad diet whereas his brother Yame bounced back with seemingly no lasting ill effects. #georgeandyame #spanishrescues #cach #campaignagainstcannedhunting
