@suuntodive ambassador @willtrubridge did 943 consecutive dives in 9 hours and 15 minutes to cross Cook Strait, one of the most unpredictable and dangerous stretches of water in the world.
Thoughts about the plight of New Zealand’s Hector’s and Maui’s dolphins, and wanting to save these precious and intelligent animals, kept Trubridge moving forward despite the challenging conditions and 15-18 degree water.
