I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be skiing in a Winter Olympics. Cold and snow was a foreign concept for most of my life. I only dreamt that I would be a Summer Olympian. But life has a way of teaching you things. My first Olympic Games taught me the power of perseverance, strength and overcoming adversity. My second games taught me an even more important lesson, the power of people and friendship. That none of the dreams, goals or achievements we seek actually matter without the people in your life. I believe that that is the Olympic spirit, the power to unite people from all walks of life to become greater than any one us alone..
