My blood feud with @brethitmanhart began in 1997 when, during a MADtv sketch, I hoisted the then WWE World Champion onto my shoulders and delivered a textbook airplane spin. It was an improvisational moment that would ignite a lifelong rivalry. Never one to leave a score unsettled, Bret returned to our program a year later and attacked me with a steel (/plastic) chair during our live to tape broadcast. Soon after that, The Hitman and I decided to settle our differences in a grudge match on WCW Monday Nitro. Myself and The Godmother of Sketch Comedy, my dearest #DebraWilson, made our way to Tampa and pandemonium ran wild. That nationally televised contest happened 20 years ago today. And although I was bested in the squared circle that night, it was an honor being tossed about and head butted in the nuts by the greatest technical wrestler of all time, as well as being laced with fat jokes by the forever legendary #BobbyHeenan. I deserved each outcome. Since then, many (usually young/always white males) have asked if what happened all those years ago was real.
