During the visit to celebrate a hundred years of @gchq, The Queen met Bletchley Park codebreaker veteran Ruth Bourne, as well as young winners of CyberFirst - a codebreaking competition for girls.

Her Majesty also explored artefacts from GCHQ history with their resident historian, from the Bombe Decoder machine to a secret code book used to exchange messages between the Royal Household and Government in 1939.

The Queen finally unveiled a plaque, which features two hidden messages, to commemorate her visit and #gchq100.
