We all make mistakes, but some we can’t undo. Undo, a real serious short film. Sound on! This one is probably the most vulnerable I’ve ever been and was new territory for me...

After helping direct some scenes of my brother @sammartinmusic’s big upcoming concept album music video I wanted to create something of my own from the footage I shot with the amazing @ブリアナ・エヴィガン and @brett.schaberg and @trvrlogan. I grabbed the whistle from Sam’s library and did the best I could sound designing.

Monologue:

I think my biggest fear is doing something I can’t undo.

You see I’m impulsive. I do things on feel.

It’s nothing to take pride in, it’s sort of lazy  if you think about it

cuz you don’t think anything through, you just react

But for me it’s worked.
If I do anything wrong, there’s always been a way to undo it.
An imperfection. Just command Z, Undo
A careless word. Say you’re Sorry, Undo
A sin. Ask God for Forgiveness, Undo .
But of all the sins… Wrath and Lust scare me the most.
They move fast and take over your mind. They hide deep inside you and when they come out they intoxicate you, they make you feel so alive they black you out.  They don’t think, they want. They have to it have it now. And they don’t stop till they get it.
and then when it’s over and you’re staring at what you’ve done.
You’re in your head

and you’re just trying to press undo. undo. Undo.
But nothing happens

And you’re stuck there with what you did.
