It was the summer of 2010. I was walking around set with drumsticks in my pocket. Albuquerque was flirting with 100 degrees. And we spent 2 months making this movie about a bunch of kids who meet in detention. No one knew how it would be received. But we did know we were making something special. And being the kid who always went against the grain, I remember reading the script for the first time and thinking, “wow, this film really means something”. Here, a photo of me and Bridgit - I’m pretty sure we were in the LM production offices. It was the day we did the first read-thrus and officially met the cast and crew for the first time. It was the beginning of something new... the breakthrough.
