About the project - ‘For this project we wanted to focus on our fascination with graphic elements and color that exist in nature – specifically exotic birds. The intensity, precision, and graphicness of the birds characteristics was something we wanted to extract and interpret using makeup. How they were placed on the face was of great importance and each felt exciting to decipher. In the end, the idea is a marriage of color and design, strategically placed and combined with fashion to create an homage to the individuality that occurs in nature.’ #WilliamLords
