If you visit in the winter, you’ll be in the perfect location for cross-country skiing, ski touring and sledding. In the summer, there are plenty of hiking trails and the alpine passes of Grimsel, Nufenen and Furka to explore. Either way, it’s worth trying the walnut cake from Bäckerei Simeon Reckingen in town.
