At this point we’re making a movie that’s NOT on these pages....... Let me tell you something you don’t know..... They say that when you surround yourself with GREATNESS!!!! they will inspire GREATNESS...... I know Deon has been wall to wall with a lot of movies to come.... I haven’t seen them all but I just wanna let you guys know..../. HE IS COMPLETELY ON FIRE on this film we’re shooting called BLACK AND BLUE!!!!! The DP ( director of photography) is a 4 time Oscar nominated DP named Donte Spinotti who did “HEAT” and “The Insider” with legends like Michael Mann the camera operators who are shooting with us did “Fast” and “Transformers” levels..... And the list goes on and on.... We are making something gritty and real that feels like TRAINING DAY- about police corruption in New Orleans... Our Oscar Nominated Leading lady ( who inspires me everyday cause when she’s ON she’s ON I’ve learned to listen more with my EYES because of you @naomieharris ......Guys I can’t tell you when but- the studio is going so crazy over this movie they decided to bump UP the release date..... It feels good to be back in this dramatic space... Believe it or not I’m more comfortable here than in other roles cause it’s not about shit blowing up and green screens.... It’s about connecting on a much deeper level...... While everyone’s talking that #BlackHOLLYWOOD talk connecting and building and empowering..... We really mean it.... Deon Taylor is a black GEM of a director and people are going to see and recognize those gifts when this movie come out...... So In the spirit of my hero Denzel Washington “Keep working.
