This picture has nothing to do with what my caption is about and I’m no longer a brunette but anyways... what I wanted to say was this: as exhausted as I currently am right now, I’ve never been more excited for a Monday to come because I’ve also never been more excited or passionate about working on a project like I currently am.

As most of you know (if you’ve followed along for some time) the last year was a very transitional time in my life. I found myself trying to escape it all during my usual NYC trip for Fashion Week last Fall. I had a “what am I doing here” moment. I sat down with my team and told them none of this was meaningful to me in this moment, so we cancelled everything. Normally I would have been excited to go to the fashion shows, but for some reason, I just couldn’t see the bigger picture (not to fret, I’m sure I’ll be back next season ??♀️) That same exact week, I met with the most incredible team and we brainstormed up this idea and I almost started crying. THIS is what truly mattered to me. THIS is what I had been searching for during the last 10 years. The friends and family I’ve shared this with have all told me the same thing: they’ve never seen or listened to me talk about something with so much passion in my eyes / voice. With that being said... I can’t wait to share more of this passion project with you all and most importantly I want to share with you the importance of always always doing what fuels your passion, and what makes your heart happy even if society (or instagram) might be influencing you to do something else, something more “fun” or “in” or “popular”.
