Whatever the outcome today...I’m grateful. Grateful for my 80TH Grammy nomination; grateful that I share it with my precious doonkie @ラシダ・ジョーンズ, #alhicks, @pauladuprepesmen & the rest of the QUINCY @ネットフリックス/@quincyjonesproductions team; grateful that I made it to 85 (86 next month!!) when the odds were against me even making it to 25; and grateful for the musical giants who put me on their shoulders & helped me see that I could achieve more than I ever thought possible. My 8-year-old-wannabe-baby-gangster-living-in-the-South-Side-Of-Chicago-self could’ve never possibly imagined that I’d one day hold the position of the all-time most Grammy nominated artist. It’s never been about the titles, but this...this is an HONOR. Thank all-a-y’awl for the love & support...Congratulations to all of the incredibly talented & deserving nominees!!...xxoo
