I had good times and a lot of high moments with some good teammates at @ノリッジ・シティFC ??
In 2006 I had 17 goals by Xmas (half way through the season) but then suffered a horrific abductor/groin tear in training which was painful as sh**. Had the operation to reattach the abductor that was hanging off the bone.
The worst injury I ever had and even though I was back playing 3 and half months later but by then it was the end of the season. ?I got bought by Derby but It took about 2 years to really strengthen and rehab the injury properly even while playing games and get it back to feeling right again not till I got bought by Nottingham Forest.I had 2nd operation to help heal and take out some cryptonite left in there ?but Injuries and setbacks are part of the sport and the game but maybe not always visible to know what you are playing through out there in front of 30,000 ?and the body pains at times but these are the moments that build character and strength and make you mentally tough to work,fight and push to get back to the field to enjoy the noise of the fans cheering.
Tough times always are inevitable but it’s part of the journey, it’s what you take out of it is what builds you.❤️
