Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker's testimony this Friday before the House Judiciary Committee was the first time an official from President Trump's administration has come before the newly empowered House Democrats in a public setting, and the tensions were on full display. Whitaker resisted questioning, at one point cutting off the chairman to note "I see that your 5 minutes is up," drawing gasps from the hearing room.
