If you want your trip to coincide with Cherry Blossom time, you’d better get moving as Japan’s sakura season for 2019 has just been released by Japan Meteorological Corporation. This is the early first forecast but is a good indicator as to when the cherry blossoms will be in bloom.

According to the forecast, cherry trees will be in full bloom in Kochi on March 25, Tokyo and Fukuoka on March 29, Kyoto on April 2, Osaka on April 3, Aomori on April 28, and Sapporo on May 8.
