Check out this fancy footwork. Artist Simon Beck stepped in a very particular geometric pattern to make this masterpiece across Lac Marlou, a frozen lake in the French Alps. He followed a classic fractal pattern known as a Mandelbrot set, tracing circles within circles. “It takes quite a lot of concentration and care not to make a mistake at some point, which of course cannot be undone,” he says.
