During the making of #TheFlower I had the opportunity to connect with families from around the country with that were affected by #gunviolence and ALL OF THEM were asking me to spread the word about how important background checks are. The House Judiciary Committee's hearing on gun safety policy is set for THIS Wednesday, February 6 —the first hearing on gun violence prevention in eight years! Make sure our representatives hear our voices in support of H.R. 8 —a bill that will update our background check laws to cover all gun sales and keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them.
